The Five Imperatives to Create A Culture of Generosity
Thursday, November 10, 2022
 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The Archdiocese of Omaha Chancery: 2222 N 111th St, Omaha, NE 68164

A Culture of Generosity is not just an attitude of gratitude for all that we receive from God, but a framework that helps parishioners answer Jesus’ call to be His disciples, no matter the cost. Every parish and school community is at a different place in realizing what it means to be missional. Join us as we dive into Five Imperatives to successfully promote gifts of prayer, participation, and generosity as recommended in the U.S. Bishops’ Pastoral Letter, Stewardship A Disciple’s Response.

Shannan Brommer and Tom Crowley with the Stewardship & Development Office will accompany pastors and parish leaders seeking to maximize stewardship and development initiatives in parishes to further the mission of Jesus.

Potential Outcomes of this workshop include:

  1. Tools and next steps to create, implement and plan towards A Culture of Generosity.
  2. A deeper understanding of how to foster an environment in which the sharing of prayer, participation and generosity is encouraged and deeply valued.
  3. Action items for progressive movement towards becoming a Missional Community through discipleship, pastoral conversion and generosity.

We will accept freewill donations to cover the cost of lunch.
